CardEaseXML

CardEaseXML is the specification for performing payment transactions using the CreditCall CardEase platform. One of the prime goals of CardEaseXML is to provide a means for virtually any internet-enabled terminal to perform credit and debit card transactions, regardless of platform or programming language. CardEaseXML builds on the functionality of CreditCall’s earlier CardEaseIP adding new functionality such as CVC and Address Verification.

Key benefits of CardEaseXML and the CardEase system:
  • Easy to integrate
  • Pre-build client components suitable for most popular development languages
  • Multiple processing sites for maximum possible availability
  • Multi Country, Multi Currency
  • High Security using encryption
  • EMV capable
CardEaseXML name derives from the technology used in the protocol. All messages passed between the Client and Server are composed of XML documents. XML stands for eXtensible Mark-up Language and is a way of specifying data in a structured form. XML is used widely in IT systems and most developers will have experience in using it.

A CardEaseXML request authorization message document contains information such as card details and amount in the request that is required to perform a transaction. In the response document, sent from the CardEase platform back to the terminal, information such as the result, authorization code and transaction reference are provided.

For simplicity of integration into a manufacturer's terminals, we can supply a DLL file for Windows environments or a Java module for non-windows use. There is also a software development kit (SDK) for manufacturers wishing to implement CardEase natively on their system.
